On some occasions, such as after a power outage or equipment change in our headend, you may find your NetCall Digital Telephone is no longer locking on to our system so you cannot get dial tone. This can easily be fixed by just rebooting the system. Rebooting simply means turning the power off then back on again. To reboot your system you must power off and on again each piece of gear in order starting with the cable modem. First reboot your modem and wait for it to reaquire, then reboot your router and finally your NetCall box. Be sure to wait between each piece of gear to aquire before rebooting the next piece of gear as they pass information from one to the next. |
